I am currently working on several building projects at the same time. This is crazy. I do not recommend it but all too often this is what happens. One thing leads to another and before you know it everywhere you look there is something that needs to be painted or fixed or replaced or updated or packed or unpacked or bought or sold or just thrown out.
This website is under reconstruction. With a new hosting and several new tools in my digital toolbox, I am hoping to build something of value and beauty. At the moment, it’s a mess. The layout isn’t what I want and I don’t know how to change it. The tools are not connected or set up and I really don’t know how to use them. The good news is I have about 3 readers who have checked in on the site periodically and understand what’s going on or more like what’s not going on.
In the physical world, I have one house under renovation and one I am trying to pack up. This is challenging enough but the added fact that they are 2,500 miles apart makes it difficult to go from one to the other. Old wall paper, plaster wall repairs, painting, painting, painting and packing are not especially tricky but there is a lot of work to do on both houses.
Without help I will not be able to do what I want to do. Fortunately, I have a great foreman overseeing the renovation work and a supportive spouse who understands why every room in the house seems to be tossed at the same time. For the website, I have a tech wizard who comes to my rescue when I get stuck.
I am still learning to use my tools properly and am grateful for the masters who teach me patiently.
What projects are you working on? Do you have the right tools for the job? Do you have the right help? What do you need to complete the next step?
